Here’s how I plan to expand to 40 academies in the UK by the end of next year:
When I started Pro Elite, it started as a hobby.
I had coached elsewhere since I was 16 but I didn’t agree with what I was being “told to coach”, so I just went for it and built my own.
In the first 5 years, it was still a hobby – we only had 3 sites and were coaching around 100 children every week.
In the last 3 years, we’ve grown it to 2000 children, 26 sites and 5 franchises in the UK.
The funny thing is though, nothing has really changed in terms of what outcomes are.
Our focus back then was getting better as coaches, making children feel inspired, cared for and welcome.
Our focus now is exactly the same.
We just got better at what we were doing.
So the plan is simple: Keep getting better at what we do, keep valuing the individual relationships and the feeling families feel and make sure anyone we bring on board shares the same vision.
And we trust that it will get us to that number. If it doesn’t, its either because were not good enough yet, or we’ve turned down people who are in it for the wrong reasons.
I’ll be happy with it regardless.
I hope by me sharing with you, you can understand why we are so passionate about what we do. Our focus always has been and always will be your children.
