This weekend saw Pro Elite welcome over 1000 children over the course of Saturday and Sunday! We sent 20 of our superstars to the “Area Best” Festival at Tottenham Hotspur’s training ground! Ernest managed to get player of the tournament in the Premier League Cup! We have had an extremely busy weekend full of Football and Fun! Unfortunately due to extreme weather conditions on Sunday, our teams could not play, but this didn’t stop us from having an incredible week!

Pro Elite Indoor Sessions

We saw so many amazing moments with all of our little superstars. Our weekend was bursting full of fun and amazing moments. During our indoor sessions this weekend we wanted to focus on our shooting, dribbling and skills. In our youngest classes the main focus was “shooting” to improve their confidence when attempting to score. This meant that each child had loads of opportunities to score goals across the whole session. Doing this this got them used to scoring and also allowed us to encourage each child through celebrating their goals.

In our 3-5 class the focus this week was dribbling. The phrase “little kicks” was used a lot this weekend to ensure each superstar knew the ball had to be close to them at all times. We focused on dribbling to ensure that each child is comfortable with dribbling when in a match scenario which will eventually make them more confident.

Our 5-7 classes saw us focusing on skills, these skills are to enhance each child’s ball control and confidence on the football. We focused on so many different skills from an “L” turn to a “Zidane” turn which is tricky but each child did it to the best of their ability. We did these while moving with the football to make it match realistic.

The “Area Best Festival”

Coach Ali got asked to send some players through to compete at the “Area Best Festival”, hosted by Tottenham Hotspur! Over the course of the week we took over 20 of our superstars to their training ground! They conducted themselves so well and made the whole of Pro Elite proud. All of our boys who played represented North London as a team competing against other sides of London. In each game they played they represented themselves so well! From playing such amazing football to respecting each other and everyone at the festival, they made everyone extremely proud!

Ernest Wins Player Of The Tournament in Premier League Cup!

Ernest, our star boy, who recently signed for Tottenham Hotspur shined in the Premier League Cup! In a tournament playing against 5 other Premier League clubs and he showed his quality over all the other incredible talent on display. This week at our football camps Ernest joined us once again! This is so good for all of our other superstars to see as it is someone they can inspire to be like. Check out what he got up to at camp this week HERE! We had so much fun over the course of the weekend and we made so many incredible memories. We always want to make our sessions as good as they can be for our superstars. All of the coaches cannot wait for next week and hopefully we can have our internal league games being played again! There is exciting times coming for Pro Elite and we want everyone to be a part of it!
