We have some news…

After 4 years of grassroots football, we are about to start a new chapter for our Academy.

A new direction, returning to our core values and main focus when we started out 8 years ago; inspiring and improving young footballers.

From the 2nd of July, we will no longer have teams competing in grassroots leagues – Pro Elite Football Academy will be strictly a place for players to come and improve.

But why?

When we first started out, 8 years ago, we had a clear vision: to inspire, improve and challenge as many young people as we possibly can.

Moving into grassroots football 4 years ago brought both joy and challenges to our thinking. Now, this isn’t always a bad thing, but we quickly realised something: development quickly goes out of the window when it comes to match-day.

Not necessarily from us as coaches.

When you are involved in a football match, where scores are kept on the day, the spectators naturally want the team to win. Matches are super important in the development of young players, but it is not our focus.

Our focus is going to be simply on the development side of young footballers.

Smaller group sessions with a detailed curriculum, with groups to suit players at all stages in their footballing journey. Sessions, practises, tournaments, festivals. All tailored toward challenging every single footballer that walks through our doors.

I have personally been designing the curriculum for a few months now and I can’t wait to introduce it to the world.

We fully believe that these practises will empower young players to really push on, regardless of where they are on their current journey.

It launches next week and I really can’t wait.
