This week we had over 50 sessions, all of our teams played and we entered some of our teams in tournaments and we managed to win one! It was such an amazing week and we created so many wonderful memories on and off the pitch!
Indoor Football Classes
This weekend we had over 50 indoor football sessions for children as young as 18 months all the way to 7 years old. In our 18-month to 3-year-old classes, our main focus this week was movements and FUN! We wanted our superstars to score as many goals as they could whilst trying out many different movements. To see so many celebrations with their parents was such a lovely sight across all our venues!
In our toddler classes that are ages 3-5, we were working on close control and teamwork. We had fun competitiveness with our first activity teaching them how to compete with one another in a team. Then we worked on “little kicks” to keep our superstars learning how to move fast whilst keeping the ball close to them.
In our oldest indoor classes, our 5-7’s we were working on learning to love the ball and also some shooting practice. We were teaching them some complex patterns of dribbling which improved each individual a lot! We then implemented shooting and different ways to strike the ball when shooting. This is important for match scenarios when looking to score.
Development Football Classes
During our development sessions, we want to make sure each individual is ready to compete for our teams. We make sure that they are ready technically as well, which is why we improve technical combinations during the session. We then also work on small competitions such as 1v1’s but this week we focused on the defensive side which is very important. Then we moved into small-sided games for the element of fun but also realistic to when they move into our teams. It’s important that anyone who comes from our development are ready to compete at the highest level at our internal league.
Internal League Teams
This week at our internal league we had all of our teams playing, they certainly did not disappoint!
GAME OF THE WEEK:
The game of the week comes from the U6/7 Diamond Conference where the Pro Elite Warriors came out 4-3 winners against the Pro Elite Rockets! This is their third win this season and they have all come in the last 3 weeks! They have worked so hard in training recently and taken on board all the coaching and taken that into their matches! This was a fantastic match that saw drama from the first to the last second. The player of the match went to Zayan, who put in a wonderful performance. He has been a standout performer in training and this week he showcased everything he has learned recently.
An overall great performance from the Warriors, let’s see if they can keep this run going!

External League Teams
This weekend both of our external league teams played and won!
Our U11 team Coached by Nick, ran out 6-1 winners which showed the hard work they have been putting in on the training ground. Coach Nick said how proud he was of his team’s performance. How they had listened to what he wanted from them and they put that into work this weekend.
Coach Jerrell’s U12s also put in one of their best performances of the season. They won 3-0 in a very convincing performance, Jerrell was so proud of his team and how they performed on Sunday. It was a performance that the team will look to kick on and get more wins this season.
Pro Elite In Tournaments
This week we entered 3 teams into tournaments, we done so well in each and every one and we even managed to win one of them!
Our U6s led by Coach Firas managed to take home the trophy, scoring 28 goals and only conceding one! Each of the boys were amazing and did us proud! Check out the amazing photo the team took after they won it here!
We also had our U9s compete in another tournament. We entered two teams and they both made Pro Elite proud! One team lost in the semi-finals and the other agonisingly lost in the final. Both teams though showed great character and deserved to win it all!
